Gigantic or chicken-sized, horned, crested, beaked or feathered, dinosaurs are an astonishingly diverse group of extinct animals. Attempting to characterise these long-dead creatures is not an easy task. Fortunately, they have left many fossils and other traces that allow us to piece together their appearance and habits. The three dinosaur fossils, "Apollonia", "Prince" and "Twinky" are exceptional in that they are nearly complete, with approximately 80% of the original bones recovered and showcased here. Be sure to also catch the other two actual Dinosaur fossils on display: the Edmontosaurus femur which you can touch (in Display 93), and the Triceratops horridus leg on display in the 'Water to Land' Zone, Display 59.
